Laurel: I am a vessel. A mere lowly one at that- a wooden canoe with holes in both sides. But my captian is truely amazing. He can me the most beautiful ship in the sea. I serve a God who was a homeless rabbi when here on earth, and with him as my captain, I can do anything. But I serve a God who is not afraid to paddle a canoe. I serve a God who walks on water. I am a 3rd generation Red Bluffian with a heart dedicated to the Lord. I like simple things. I am living for eternity- because a life with death as our only horizon must be horribly depressing. I like hanging out with my crazy brother, and doing crazy things. I run rediculous distances just for the fun of it. I get up rediculously early just because I love the sunrise. I sing...rediculously...because God made me with a voice to give back to Him. I love to travel, see new faces, and new places, and new things. But above all I love my Savior, and I just want to live according to His will. I want to be a vessel He can use. I am one of those types of people that would rather see the Lord face to face than anything else!
